Well, today we headed back to see my eye specialist so we could find out how my eye is healing. My mom was rather concerned that she might suggest that I needed the eye surgery for this corneal ulcer that has been hanging around for over a month.  I know that my mommy  had been preparing herself to be strong and deal with the suggestion of surgery.  But, I gotta tell you guys, it was sooo awesome to see that SMILE on my mommy's face when the specialist said she thought my eye was continuing to heal nicely with the medications and that she felt ok to continue as we are and see how it looks in 2 weeks!  Hurray!  Yippee!  Thank you dear, Lord, for helping my eye to heal!! My mommy prays that it will heal with God's healing touch and the medications…on it's own..without the surgery.  And, God let us hear some good news today!  So, I chose this picture because my mommy just loves it.  Oh, yeah, this is how I often look at her…and, she loves it because she says she cannot wait to see my perky little ears again…without this sassy collar cone thingy I am still wearing!  So, I'm hoping that when we return to the specialist in 2 weeks we will hear even more good news.  Hopefully, the ulcer will be pretty much gone, and my eye will be all ready for the next phase of meds that I will need to complete the healing process.  Stay tuned…and, thanks so much for all the prayers and sweet thoughts you have been sending my way!  See, they are helping!!
