Well, YOU do…it’s the truth!! I think I’m a very blessed Westie to have the opportunity to come here to visit with you guys!!  So, today, I am bombarding you with a bouquet of flowers just to let you know how much I love hanging out with you!  Come, take a walk with me…you know how I love walks!  I’ve chosen some of my fave pics from my mom’s collection.  She loves flowers and has such fun snapping pics of them when she’s out and about.

This rose reminds me of the old-fashioned rose bush in my mom’s great-grandmother’s yard…yes, the place where the tea room was.  Do you know the story about it?  Well, that rose had not bloomed for a few years, and then, in November when we opened the tea room that year it just blossomed!  My mom passed by one of the windows, glanced outside, and realized the rose had tons of blooms on it…she went out and counted 28 blooms!! It was as though Mamie, her great-grandmother, was smiling down at her, letting her know how much she loved her home being open again for sweet memories to be made there.  Mamie was always having lemonade socials and other fun things in her home so the tea room just took it back to its roots…a house filled with LIFE.

I bet she {Mamie} and Pop {my mom’s great-grandfather} had moments when they took walks and held hands like this.  I know my mommy and Poppy do!! And, I know that my mom still gets butterflies when Poppy reaches over to take her hand.  And, yep, all seems right with the world in those moments!!  LOVE, I tell ya…it’s a good thing!!  🙂

Isn’t this just glorious?? If you know the name of it, please let me know, as I can’t think of it at the moment.  My mom loves this one…oh, yes, because it’s PINK!!!

Ooh la la…this one…so simple, elegant, and stunning to me!! Don’t you just love how I seem to have picked up words from my mom?!! She tries to teach me to notice the little things in life…they are often so beautiful.  And, goodness, we will really miss out if we overlook them!

Ah, summer is here, sweet friends…time for a little chillin’…relaxin’…and enjoying all the sunshine!  Did you see that I made a surprise appearance in my mom’s latest vlog {video}??  Well, go check it out if you haven’t seen it yet…it’s in this post.  I “just happened” to show up at the right time….no, of course, I didn’t plan that!! LOL

This week we are busy working on website updates, finishing up some art, working on some new pieces, and getting ready to start our new Summer Series.  Take a peek at that video to find out what we are starting this week…it’s gonna be fun!!
