Wow!! It’s already July…where does the time go?  Hope you had a Happy 4th! We sure did, and mommy is working on another post all about it…just have to share some of the beautiful shots she took of the fireworks!  But, for now, mommy and I are busy in the studio working on all sorts of fun art and colorful things to share with you to add a dose of SUNSHINE to your days!  Mommy says I am the sweetest little helper!  Each morning I am determined that mommy will follow this schedule I have created…it goes a little something like this:  Mommy arrives in the kitchen, I am quick on her heels for lots of mornin’ kisses, she starts getting things ready for breakfast, I’m on my hind legs like a teddy bear reminding her it’s time for my cookie, she’s back to all her busyness, I’m back to remind her to get my kong and fill it with a little treat, she responds quite nicely ~ then, I’m quiet for a bit.  I think it’s only fair to let her finish making breakfast.

But, aha, the moment she has completed this task I am quick to her side…if she does what she is supposed to she will sit down at the table where she will read her inspirational things.  It’s at this time that I’m up like a bear again, signaling that it’s time I take my place in her lap.  They say I’m just like Tucker when it comes to this…that makes me SMILE!!!  🙂  Up, up, and away I go into her arms, find a snuggly spot to nestle into in her lap, and I get my little morning snooze…I love to tuck my head down into the crook of her elbow…such a cozy spot, I tell ya!

Mommy loves sketching and even doing a bit of watercoloring on the beach. She quickly did this girl one day…she’s always trying to just be free with her paintings and let go more…you know, letting go of that feeling of needing to make it perfect and just right.  You can do this, too, you know!  🙂  I love this sweet girl because she’s all about GRACE, and we all know that grace can sure bring us peace and happiness if we just grab hold of it!

Oh, boy, we’ve also been busy getting our patio all pretty and loaded with COLOR!! Yep, that means lots of pretty flowers!!  Mommy loves purslane, and I must say it is bloomin’ like crazy!  It opens up each morning with the sun and then, closes at night.  I love it, too! And, of course, we love lots of palms to surround the patio…makes for the sweetest little breezes!  How does your garden grow and what are your favorite bloomin’ things?? I want to know!  🙂

And, of course, we think summertime brings with it the most beautiful sunsets!  Oh, my goodness, they are just amazing!  Mommy loves snapping shots of them to share with you!  I hope you are taking time to head outside in the evenings so you can enjoy the sunsets in your little paradise wherever you may be!

We hope your summer is paw~si~tive~ly awesome so far!!  Be sure to take time to enjoy the little things like sunsets, lemonade on the patio, sweet evening breezes, and of course, lots of lovin’ on your fur babies!!
