Do you know what happens when you have a spot that is truly your HAPPY PLACE??  You find that it is very hard to leave it.  And, I sure hated to have to pack up and head back home yesterday after a week in this paradise.  But, I am so very thankful for each day we had there ~ taking walks on the beach, hanging out in the sunshine, watching Tucker have the best time sitting on the balcony watching and listening to all the beach activity, and feeling so relaxed and peaceful.  Just listening to the waves and enjoying that breeze that you only find at the beach…well, it all makes me happy, I tell ya!  The above picture is one of my favorites I snapped while there.  I just love all the little details it captures…the flag, cozy beach cottages, a beautiful sunset signaling the end of another amazing day, the waves crashing, and even a few sea oats.  I love beautiful sunsets, and the evening sky at the beach is a true work of art.

And, this lil guy…well, he couldn’t have been happier!  He loved hanging out on the balcony, soaking up a little sunshine, relaxing in the breeze, and keeping tabs on all the people on the beach.  His ears would perk up as though he was so intrigued with what each person was doing, and he got quite a few waves from people passing by.  If he wasn’t hanging out on the balcony he was busy at one of the windows watching all that was going on.  He had so much fun, and we were so glad we took him with us.  There were quite a few other families that had their furry babies along, too.  🙂

Stay tuned for some more beach pictures and some fun finds I came across while shopping.  Of course, this chick had to stop by some of those cute shops!  Oh, how I love visiting all the fun shops filled with artwork, unique designs, and one of a kind creations!
