Polka dots and ladybugs…well, yes, they do make quite a cute combination!  However, I'm talking about POLKA DOT BOOTS!! Yep, that's right…it's been chilly here this week so I had to pull on my sassy boots before heading out for a little walk with Tucker.  Of course, he did kinda look at me as though he was thinking "You must be kidding…you're not really going to wear those out in public…with..me…right??"!! teeheehee  Oh, yes, I am!  Too bad I don't have a head to toe shot for you!  Now, please…you didn't really think I would do that to myself, now did you! haha  However, I will admit that John did tell me that I looked rather "Hollywoodish" one day when I was sporting this get up…polka dot boots, diva sunglasses, and my pink tweed long coat (I promise this coat is cute!!…don't worry!!).  Anyway, I must say, I just love these boots!  They are just what I need when trying to avoid slippin' and slidin' in the snow and on that icy walking trail.   This type of boot comes in an assortment of stylish designs…bright colors, animal prints, funky styles…you name it, it's out there!  Do you happen to have a funky pair of boots like this?  I hope so! It definitely makes rockin' in the snow a little more stylish!

But, I already told you the other week that I have been feeling a little of that "spring fever" that just seems to hit about this time every year.  So, I couldn't help myself…yes, I did it…I just had to start thinking about all the amazing spring designs I will be adding to the shoppe for the months ahead.  And, I even had to post one for you to see.  We girls love anything personalized and customized to our preference so what better design than a belt buckle that has a cute background with your monogram taking center stage!  This is a fun and funky design, and there are lots more to come so be sure to check back so you are the first to know about new releases in the shoppe!  You may take a peek at this new buckle here in my shoppe.

I am happy to report that my banner is now showing up just fine for those of you viewing my blog via Internet Explorer.  I'm sending a big shout out of thanks to Typepad technical support.  They were so diligent in troubleshooting the issue until they found the tiny little culprit, and now, it's like it should be!  It drives me crazy when there is just one little thing that causes something to not function properly on my blog or website.  I am so determined and will keep working with it til I am just about ready to pull my hair out!  :)  Are you like this with computer issues?  Ugh…it can be really frustrating, but you know what…this is how I have learned so many little (and big) things about the computer, code, and so much else that I just really need to know to keep my online business running smoothly.  Trial and error…it's a good thing!  Determination…even better!!

Whatever has you thinking extra hard today…well, just stay DETERMINED, see it through, and you will be so proud of YOU!!

There is a sweet family that just lost their beautiful 10 month old daughter to cancer.  Her name is Cora Paige, and she is just the most adorable little angel.  The pictures of her will grab your heart the moment you see them…such a pretty face, full of such personality.  When I came across their story my heart just broke for them.  Although we don't have children yet, we do want them, and I cannot imagine the excitement of having such a precious little one and then the devastation of losing her after such a short time.  Her parents look so sweet, and again my heart breaks for them.  You may read about their story here….I hope you will keep them in your heart and prayers, too, as they try to deal with such a loss.
