Wow…doesn’t it always seem that the weekends are gone before you know it? Honestly, it just seems like it was Friday afternoon, and now, here it is already the start of a new week! Tucker thought you might like a cute picture to get your week started off right! And, I thought you might like a yummy recipe for dinner tonight! I used to love going to the home of one of my friends that lived in Kuwait when they were having Chicken Marsala for lunch. She had an Indian lady to cook for them, and she knew just how to make this…ooh, it was so good! She tried to tell me what to do so I could make it at home, but mine did not ever turn out quite like hers. Thank goodness, they would fix up a plate for me to take home for John so he got to sample her delicious cooking.
I was excited to recently find this recipe from Skinnytaste for Chicken Tikka Marsala and can’t wait to try it. If you follow my shoppe page on Facebook you have probably seen some of the recipes I have shared from Skinnytaste. Be sure to follow Skinnytaste on Facebook, too, as she {Gina} has some really great sounding recipes. And, I love that the recipes don’t usually have a long ingredient list. I’m telling you…if I see a really long list of things that the recipe requires I am probably not going to try it, or I am going to cut out “this or that”. I’m really bad to do this…leaving out one thing or another that I don’t think the recipe really needs. Sometimes it works…sometimes not so much! haha I have created some yummy revisions of some recipes though by doing this. I guess I need to look around on Skinnytaste to see if they have some good Lebanese recipes because we love Lebanese food and have yet to find a restaurant around here. I’m always looking for one and really miss my favorite one in Alexandria ~ Zikrayet.
Ok, now you know the deal…if you try this recipe let me know how you like it and if you made any changes to it. I’ve got the ingredients on my list so I’ll be making this for John soon. He really likes Indian food so I think I better follow this one to a “T”! 🙂
Happy Monday ~ Tucker and I hope your week is getting off to a great start! Hope you’re staying COOL ~ it is too hot in the south!! Guess that means we better have lots of iced tea on hand!

Thanks so much for visiting my blog! 🙂
Ann-Margaret, I’m glad I listened and was sure to stop by today….just to see these pictures of Tucker! Oh my goodness, are they ever great pictures and sure makes me miss our Bentley so! :-(……that big black nose, those paws. Just love your little guy!!! I wish I lived close enough to take him off your hands and take him on a walk! 🙂
This recipe looks delicious. I bet Randy would like it. I’ve never heard of your favorite restaurant in Alexandria, but I’ll admit I’m not very familiar with Lebanese food. Maybe I’ll be daring enough to try this restaurant one day. 😉
I hope you enjoyed your tea today in all that heat – we did! 🙂
Cindy, I’m so glad you enjoyed seeing Tucker. 🙂 I have been thinking of you and can just imagine how much you are missing Bentley, especially right now. I wish we lived closer, too…Tucker and I would love hanging out with you, and he would be giving you so much lovin’!! 🙂 We love Lebanese food because it’s all about grilled meats and veggies…lots of good salads! One day we may just have to meet up at that Lebanese restaurant when I’m in town! But to be honest…I’ll be happy with cupcakes and chatting with you in person no matter where it is!! 🙂 Looks like we’re gonna need more iced tea today!! 🙂 Tucker and I are sending you big hugs!!
