Good Morning!! I hope you had a fabulous Thanksgiving day and holiday weekend! Did you brave the black Friday sales?? Not me!! My sister and I did that several years ago and declared that day that we would not ever partake in it again after we almost got trampled on a few times, pushed around, and endured lots of craziness!! And, it’s funny…I don’t think either one of us have been back since then! haha  But, for those of you that go, I applaud your bravery!! A true shopping chick you are!! 🙂  Now it’s time to get the Christmas tree all decorated and fill our homes with the Christmas spirit.  Did you get your tree put up over the weekend?  I had hoped to, but we just had such a busy weekend so it had to wait for another day.  I am so excited about getting it up and all decorated though.  I love turning the lights on each night and enjoying the beautiful glow it gives off ~ one of my favorite things!

We are loving all of the decorations that have already been put up here at the beach.  Some hotels, shops, and homes even started a couple of weeks ago so it’s been fun seeing little spots of Christmas here and there.  Alys Beach is so pretty no matter what time of year it is.  It is almost as though you are driving into a different world when you stroll through its entrance.  It is truly breathtaking and so beautiful. I love how they have it decorated for Christmas, too!

Christmas trees and palm trees!!! ~ What could be better!! I snapped this one real quick as we were driving through.  {Don’t you love that there is the Christmas tree along with a couple lying out in the sun?!!}  I hope to take some time throughout the holiday season and go around to some of my favorite spots and snap some more pictures of some of the Christmas details.  Seeing all of this certainly gives me the Christmas spirit.  It always seems as though Halloween arrives, and then, Thanksgiving gets here so quickly…and, all of a sudden it’s time to pull out the Christmas decorations.  My hope each year is that I will be able to slow down a little and really soak in the true reason for the season and enjoy all the moments of  this special holiday.  I hope this for you, as well!!

My shoppe is closed as of today and will reopen right after the New Year.  I will be working on lots of new designs and creations during the holidays that will make their debut after Christmas.  I am so excited about all the things I am working on and so very excited to really start sharing more of my sketches and artwork with you.  And, all of these new designs will be available on my signature belt buckles, pendants, note cards, and new items such as wall art (prints to frame) and canvases.  I’ll still be blogging during this time so stay tuned for a few sneak peeks.  And, just think…even after Christmas, you will still have something to look forward to, as my shoppe will be filled with lots of surprises!
