JOY

How do you find it?

What does it mean to you?

And, most of all…are you spreading it?

Well, I think if we just look around a little we will find JOY in so many places within our lives.  Sometimes it is just so obvious, while other times we find ourselves having to do a little searching for it.  And, sometimes just lands in your lap like the biggest surprise!!

And, then there are those times when you know that the next few days will be filled with tons of JOY…because of the person or people you will be spending time with.  My next few days will be just that…I know it!!  My sweet niece, Kaylee, is coming to hang out with us for a few days, and we are so excited!! This cute chick is a teenager, but let me tell you…spending time with her is like being with a friend my age…one that I can laugh with, share secrets with, talk for hours, enjoy shopping, cute lunches, sunning on the beach, and so much more.  She is the sweetest JOY to be around!!!  She has the biggest heart, such an adorable personality, and the kindest, sweetest soul!!  Oh, I love this girl…I’m just a little bit crazy about her!!!

So, I know my life is going to be fused with huge amounts of JOY in the coming days just by being around her!!  She just has a way of doing this with everyone she comes in contact with…I know…I hear what they say.  She is just so loving, and it shows.

So, how do you find JOY…well, I’m going to find it by spending time with someone special that I love so much!!

What does it mean to me?  Oh, goodness, it makes my heart swell with such happiness {and, tons of JOY!!}, and I am so excited just thinking about the special memories we will make together!!

And, am I spreading it?  Well, I think I just might be…this visit fills both of us with JOY because she has been wanting to come see us, and she is over the moon excited!!  So, I know she is spreading lots of JOY, and well, I just might be, too.  And, you know what…it feels good!!!  🙂

Yes, oh, yes!!!  ~ It feels good to know that I am making someone HAPPY, that we are adding sunshine to someone’s days!

And, guess what…I bet YOU are doing this every day and not even realizing it!!  Don’t just look for the JOY….be sure to take time to realize how much you are spreading!!  It will make you smile, I promise!!

Now, I’m off to tidy things up…I have a very special guest coming…this chick has to get the coop all ready for that sweet young lady!!

Oh, I added this beautiful girl to my Etsy shoppe yesterday…I loved bringing her to life.  As I did so, I just wanted her to look as though she was remembering a special day and holding those memories close.  I’m working on some shoppe updates so I’ll be sharing those with you soon, and I’ll be getting back to my schedule of sending out regular newsletters.  Yippee!! ~ lots of good stuff in the works!!
