A Visit to the Cute ‘N Quaint Town of Boerne, Texas

Grab your purse, put on those comfy shoes, and come for a stroll with me along the streets of Boerne, Texas!

I love cute, quaint little towns that have so much personality, and Boerne, Texas is one of those towns.  When we were visiting John’s parents back in the summer we spent the afternoon in this adorable town, and I had such fun window shopping and sneaking into many of the shops to check out all the interesting finds each one held.  Boerne has such a fun downtown area with lots of old buildings, barns, cozy little spots to sit and chat, and all sorts of fun stuff to check out around each corner.

I have a “thing” for old barns.  Maybe it is because of those back home that hold such memories for me. Do you know that the parking area for my tea room was a barnyard?? Yep, that’s right, those old barns are still standing, and we all love them.  On the opening day of the tea room that barnyard was overflowing with cars…it was just perfect for parking.  When I spotted this cute owl sign I had to snap a picture for my sweet friend Chrissy of Hoot Deigns.  I knew she would love it, and so did I! That owl is just a HOOT he’s so cute!!

I loved checking out all the vintage finds in the shop of Emma B.  The owner was a joy to chat with.  Some of her family happened to be from Alabama so we had fun talking about the south.

Look at sweet Tater!! What a greeter he is!! Imagine my surprise as I am walking by and spot him smiling at me from the window!! I couldn’t wait to tell Tucker about him! 🙂  As people passed by I could hear them saying, “Is he real??”  So cute that he likes to hang out in that spot.  But, I have to say, I think it’s the place to be…he can keep an eye on the happenings of the town!

And, you know how much I love birds, bird nests, and vintage birdcages so I loved this pretty decor.  I love that chicken wire cage!! Hmm…I think I should have made a purchase!! Ok, so I probably do have enough birdcages!! Gotta pass some by, right?!! 🙂

And, of course, there were a few sassy rides to be seen!  I’ve got a few more fun pictures to share with you from our visit, and I’ll save them for another day.  We’ll take the convertible out for the next journey!!

Have you been to any cute and quaint towns lately?  Or, do you have a favorite that you enjoy frequenting?  I’d love to hear about it if you do!!

Enjoy your day ~ make it cute ‘n quaint…no matter where you are!
