  • Enjoyed your post today, Tucker! I am familiar with administering fluids to little Westies like this, having had to do this myself with our Bentley. It was a tough time for all. 🙁 I’m sure you are in great hands with your Mommy and Poppy!

The smoothies look delicious!! We’ve been making them with our Vita Mix and even the kids will drink the green smoothies! 🙂 Thanks for sharing – I’ll have to try the Hawaii Dreamin’!

What a sweet bunny painting! Reminds me of a book I read today by Jan Brett – her drawings are incredible.ReplyCancel

Hi “Miss” Cindy! Thanks so much for stopping by! Oh, yes, you know all about the extra TLC we sweet Westies sometimes need!! I sooo appreciate all the love and care I’m getting, and I can just imagine that sweet Bentley did, too! Let us know if you try the Hawaii Dreamin’ smoothie and how you like it! My mom is always thinking of new combinations to try…that is a fancy machine, I must say! 🙂 My mom says “thank you” for the compliment about the bunny…we want to check out the lady you mentioned. Sounds like we’ll find a dose of inspiration there! Hope y’all are having a happy spring! Big hugs, sweet friend!ReplyCancel

A Calm Spirit ~ The Only Way to Truly Enjoy “Life Sailing”

Some days we may just need to realize that a calm spirit may be just what we need to truly enjoy the adventure of life! A calm spirit…what does that look like? it makes me think of the ocean in its beautiful state of serene waves, rippling ever so softly, just enough to keep us...

  • Gorgeous photos… and the sailing analogies are so true. When the wind shifts, it means re-adjusting your sails to get to your destination.

Mind you, there’s nothing like being out on the water to clear your mind… it’s either calm and relaxing – or rough so you have to concentrate hard, and there’s no room in your mind for any other thoughts!

Cornelia, I love your message about sailing! Thank you for the compliments about my photos…I was thinking of you when I did this post. 🙂 Wouldn’t it be such fun if I could pop over, and we could go sailing with Tucker and Minnie?!! 🙂 Hope you’ve had a lovely weekend, dear friend ~ thanks so much for your visit!ReplyCancel

Hi Anne! Oh, yes, we women have lots to try to deal with when it comes to all our girlie issues! And, I agree…a little chocolate can sure make things better! Praying helps me so much, too…it’s as though I often just need to get back to that spot of serenity and move away from the overwhelm. Sending you hugs, beautiful friend! 🙂ReplyCancel

Your Heart ~ A Very Special Tour Guide Along Your Journey of Life

Are you listening….to your HEART? Sometimes I feel like mine is really trying to nudge me to see something in a different light, encouraging me to move outside my comfort zone, or giving me the “ok” to go ahead in the direction I feel led.
