Having a Hoot in the Studio!

I’ve been busy in the studio splashing color around and flipping through my sketchbooks looking at all the pieces I want to bring to life.  I am usually so excited to head out into my studio to “get my ART on” and often find that once I get there I have difficulty deciding just where...

This is lovely Ann-Margaret! And the view from your studio, oh my gosh!! I am so jealous. I look out onto my street and neigbhors’ houses. Not the most inspiring view at all. Oh, well!
Give yourself and Tucker a hug for me, okay?ReplyCancel

Thank you so much, Paty! 🙂 I am so thankful for that view…I have always wanted to look out to see water while working and was blessed to have a pretty lake in front of my studio before we moved here…but, this view makes me so happy…it is so different. Because of how my studio was set up there I only got to see the view when I was working on packaging items to ship. LOL I can’t tell you how many times I will walk outside with Tucker or just to sit on the patio and look out and just thank God for the beauty it offers. I’ve got an extra spot in the studio so all you’ve got to do is hop on over, and we’ll have a cuppa tea and enjoy the view!! Thanks for our hugs…sending some right back to you, sweet friend!!ReplyCancel

Sunset Sunday ~ Celebrating a Birthday Beachside…Nothing Sweeter!

Have you ever thought about how much time we spend anticipating things?  It may be sweet anticipation as we look forward to an exciting event or special day, or it could be anticipation that is filled with dread as we are concerned or anxious about something in the days ahead.  Either way, sometimes the anticipation...

Oh, sweet Minnie, I don’t know what happened to summer…one minute I am sunbathing and the next…well, my mom is trying to get me to try on Halloween costumes!! 🙂 I don’t know what she is thinking…she seriously bought a cat costume for me!!! I refuse to wear such!! Well, I do hope you are enjoying summer, sweet friend…does it get really hot for you there? Hopefully there is always a nice breeze for you!! Enjoy summer…will you be going on some boat rides? So happy to hear you like my clothes {thank you!!}…I like to pick out my faves, and then mom surprises me with them all along! 🙂 I love getting surprises in the mail! Sending you lots of kisses!! • Poor Tucker – am sorry for the itchy feet – there are several things you can do to help him out – are you on my Facebook group page called WESTIES HEALTH — FROM EARS TO TAIL? If not – you have my e-mail address so send me a note and I’ll send you the link.

First – get some non-allergic baby wipes and wipe off his feet when he comes inside – also use Gold Bond Medicated Powder between the pads of the feet – but try and remove as much of the fur between the pads as possible with blunt-end scissors … does Tucker’s feet smell sweet? This is a sign of yeast/bacterial infection which has settled into a nice cozy spot. On my group page there is a treatment of soaking the feet in apple cider vinegar … and I could go on and on and on – also an allergy pill from the vet might also help.

There is no reason for your Tucker to be biting at his cute little feet … all the best, KatieReplyCancel

Hi Katie, thank you soooo very much for your sweet comment!! 🙂 Tucker and I appreciate it so! Yes, I am on the FB page you mentioned so I’ll keep an eye out on there for ideas that may be shared. Thanks so much for the thought about the baby wipes. I try to be good about wiping his fee off each time we come back in, but the wipes will work great. His feet don’t seem to smell “sweet” so maybe we are ok in that regard. He is wearing cute socks which really helps with him not biting on his feet…they don’t seem to be bothering him as much so I am hoping they are getting better. I don’t ever want my sweet lil guy to be uncomfortable so I’m always happy to hear about ideas. 🙂 Many thanks for your tips and for your visit…Tucker and I love for you to stop by!! 🙂 Hugs to you!!ReplyCancel

Sunset Sunday ~ Sometimes It’s Worth Reliving a Favorite Moment…or, In This Case…a Sunset

Just when you think a sunset really can’t be more beautiful there comes another day that ends with another masterpiece. Its magnificence is so incredible, breathtaking, and is sure to go down on our gratitude list. And, the only thing that is brighter than this setting sun is the memory of it…because I assure you...
